Google Flags its own site as “This site may harm your computer”

This is strange; Today around 9.15am I was searching something related to Facebook api for a project that I am currently working on but I realized that almost all my research results came flagged. All the results were flagged as “This site may harm your computer”. I was curious about it so I typed Google on the search box and guess what same result, Google was flagging its own site as “This site may harm your computer”.

    As a matter of fact,I was searching for speed test site,all the search results showed “This site may harm your computer”. At the time,I didn’t know the exact reason but thought something happened due to virus in my machine.

    The interesting thing was how in a moment the whole world started to talk about this issue. Even after Google posted on its official blog a post explaining that this is not a problem on the users’ end, the common users still smelled conspiracy in the air… and as usual they arrived to the conclusion that Google is evil…
